I can see the approaching flood of new icons from here...

Bless The Smallville Torch for posting the WB publicity shots.

There are two shots of John Glover by himself, though oddly this is the one I like best.

Michael looks gorgeous in the sorbet shirt (and that shot makes me want to lick his scalp more than usual) and delectably sinister in this lighting (this one makes me want to lick those veins in his forearms).

But why does he so often seem to have circles under his eyes? Does he not get enough sleep, or maybe not drink enough water? I'd hate to have to go to Vancouver to make sure he took care of himself. Oh, I would so hate that. Yeah.

Anyway.

Then there's the group shot -- I can't decide whether I'm more amused by everyone's relative positions, or the fact that Kristin looks all of maybe 14.

There are also some interesting possible spoilers up... I'll put them in cut-away for those on spoiler-free diets.

There were a bunch more spoilers up, but I didn't find the rest nearly as squeeee! as these two.

One: We'll be treated to wet!Clark again when he goes for a swim in red speedos. I'm starting to wonder if a red speedo is some sort of subtext flag in televistion...

Two: Lana may be leaving Smallville. Go, Lana, go!

Three: Clark will get in Lionel's face and tell him to stay out of Smallville. I have faith in John's ability to cram as much subtext into this scene as humanly possible.

The opposite of spoilers -- things I'd like to see that will almost certainly never (though unlike a shot of Clark and Lex curled up naked in Lex's bed, might yet plausibly) happen on the show:

Lex in a kilt. (Hey, the Luthors are supposed to hail from Scotland...)

Lex and Clark hugging. Just a normal platonic hug, maybe in a comfort situation, but dangit those boys don't touch enough.

There's other stuff I'd like to see, too -- flashbacks with Lillian, more of Lex unclothed and/or fencing, Lionel passing for a human being, and so on -- but they all seem so much more possible (if not necessarily likely) than the kilt or the hug.
