Various people complained after the SV ep "Slumber" about how unrealistic it was that fresh lilacs could exist in the fall. I was somewhat mystified by this, having long known lilacs as one of the plants that bloom early enough in spring that they can sometimes go again come fall. I actually saw a lilac bush in bloom earlier today.
Of course, I live in an area with a sizable and active fairy population. (One of the telltale signs of this is plants blooming and fruiting out of season.)
And speaking of fairies... LJ fairy, I know I squandered most of the last year, what with not being able to get online for long periods. But I promise that I'll do better this time if you visit again. It's been almost a year since I saw you last.
Plus, if you wave your wand over me, that frees my meagre funds up to sponsor extra icon spaces for some other pauvre LJ user.
