As a rule, I don't rec fiction in my journal. I've never (unless I just don't remember, which is actually quite plausible) recced meta. Usually there wouldn't be much point to my making meta-post recs, because anybody who'd be interested in a given meta essay would be just as likely to have seen the post in question already.
