400

[buggery]

So this is the 400th post I've made, according to my LJ userinfo. Wow. It's been a fun two and a half years... and it feels like it's been longer than that, which I guess means I've really been packing the enjoyment in. Yeah, that does sound right. (:

I meant to get online and post yesterday, but between being tired and being distracted by the presence of a Te in my house, never got to it. But Valentine's Day! Day of many good things.

For one thing, the timfinity archive is open, chock full of Tim Drake AU fanfiction and fanart goodness.

Just for me (well, for me and thirteen -- hee! -- other people), the lovely and talented karabou is making a Valentine picture! Watch this journal, or hers, to see it once it's finished. Er, there's my brain misbehaving again. ::facepalms::

I said that I'd been thinking a kiriban seemed appropriate for my 400th post. And since I'm the one who "got" number 400, it makes sense (at least in my own head) that the special art is for me rather than by me.

...If this post failed to make any sense, well, my brain's been foggy lately. q: Hopefully you'll all know what I mean even if it isn't quite what I've actually said.

I re-read your entry and I noticed this ...If this post failed to make any sense, well, my brain's been foggy lately. q: Hopefully you'll all know what I mean even if it isn't quite what I've actually said. So I think you just got me confused with someone else (the "lovely and talented" bit should have tipped me off! hehe.. j/k). Not that I mind drawing you a picture, I just still don't remember having said I was going to do anything Valentine-related.

Mea culpa, sweetie.

Apparently a combination of my misreading part of an AIM conversation between Te and Prop over Te's shoulder, my memory not being worth shit for anything but trivia, and some serious wishful thinking, all together led to my misapprehension that you'd been planning to draw something for me.

You are SO lovely and talented, both in equal measure (which is to say richly gifted). I think part of why my brain decided it was you was that when I think of 'female fanartists with whom Te or I might be chatting' you're near the top of the list.

Sorry to give you a scare. ...And if you should decide to draw something for me anyway, well, I certainly wouldn't object -- but no pressure or expectation. That'd be like my expecting celebrities who've appeared in my dreams to remember the encounters.
