Apricot (WIP)

A new story, because I don't have enough WIPs. Heh. Okay, more because challenges make for such irresistible plot-bunnies. Also, for a change, it's not Clark/Lex, as requested by the challenger. Not sure yet whether I'll put actual sex in it or just tease. Though I know how that usually turns out.

Notes:

For Kassie's Crayola Challenge (see here for a list of colour names).

A little stop on the journey from the boy who lost his mother to the man we glimpsed at Club Zero.

I was in the Isles in April 95, and it was in fact so sunny my fair-complected companion got a sunburn. In ten days it only rained once.

(no subject)

Why the hell did it take so long for me to notice Brimstone? Aside from the obvious answers that I wasn't watching TV when it first aired, it's only on now at 3 am, and the first ep I tried to watch had practically no sign of that handsome devil in it.

At any rate, I'm well and truly hooked now. John Glover made those painters' whites look gayer than all the costumes of the Village People, Elton John and Liberace combined. Not that the suit look doesn't work for him, but oh, the scarf knotted round his neck. The other one hanging out of his back pocket like an advertisement. Guh. There I was thinking I was never going to see anything in the show worth my bother, and in one scant hour I'm hooked and being pestered by a half-formed story idea. Yes, of course for a slash story, don't be silly.

Perhaps someone longer-acquainted with the Brimstone-love could tell me just which unfallen angel the JG in white was meant to be? It's for a good cause.
