Can a GL fan or fans answer a couple of questions for me? There may be fanfiction in it for you...


How large exactly is/was a Green Lantern's territory supposed to be?

Has there ever been any canon reference to who the GL for the Vegan star system (where the planet Tamaran was) is or used to be, and/or if that was a separate territory from Earth? (Vega and Sol are only 26 or so light years apart...)

Well, I'm not sure where she falls in continuity, but there was a Tamaranean GL named Alisand'r (http://glcorps.dcuguide.com/alisandr.php) at one point.

The sector including Earth definitely includes other planets (Abin Sur was assigned to our sector before Hal and wasn't an Earthling), but i'm not sure how big it is.

It looks like the Vegan system was off-limits to the Corps because of history between the Guardians and the Psions--one of the other races inhabiting the system--so they wouldn't have had a GL at all. Some of the details can be found here.
