I try very hard not to get sucked into pointless debates in fandom. I admit if I think there's room for discussion, it sometimes tempts me. But I find it gets easier all the time to tell when an exchange of opinion is going to turn into to one of those ::headdesk:: situations, and I quicky avert my eyes.
