I had no idea SL could be cancelled. My husband has been on and off short term disability for the past few years, and this past go round looks to be permanent. Saving the 200$ a month we pay on his loans could make a HUGE difference for us. Thanks for the heads up, and damn straight I'll be fighting this right along side you.
