Or rather, Part I of Jack's unreasonably long (not to mention belated) "Nocturne" recap.

Shout-out: Everything I know about recapping, I learned from Omar.

Out of character though it may be, I'll refrain from making any jokes punning on the episode title.

Apparently Lana goes to 'visit her parents' just about every night. So much for her not being so creepy. She rides right past the angel statue (which, for once, doesn't have Smallville's own Warrior Angel posed in front of it in someone's anvillicious notion of clever), which means she's riding her horse right over people's graves. And not even at a respectfully restrained walk.

Soon enough we see an explanation for Lana's lack of respect: she's got a retro yellow-glass bong stashed beside Lewis' and Laura's headstone. Or, wait, she's putting flowers in it; it might be just a vase. Maybe. Then she notices a large envelope laying across the headstone, with "Lana" written on it in fancy calligraphy she examines like a handwriting analyst. She turns it over and finds an impressive wax signet seal, engraved with a flourished B. Then she turns it back over to see who it's addressed to. Attention span problems, Lana?
