The title is a quotation from Publilius Syrus.

Thanks to Victoria [livejournal.com profile] musesfool for her discerning beta eye.

Oh, and spoilers for "Phoenix," season 3 episode 2.

Remainder of author's notes follow the story.

more frolicking with these two and Jack's other favourite characters

It's been going around like a kryptonite-enhanced rhinovirus, so it was bound to wind up here sooner or later. I just decided to go with sooner, before everyone was sick to death of it.

Ganked from all bloody over my friends and friendsfriends lists:

I want Jack [livejournal.com profile] buggery to write _____________.
Jack [livejournal.com profile] buggery should get a clue and stop writing _________.
_______ would make Jack [livejournal.com profile] buggery's stories better.
If Jack [livejournal.com profile] buggery writes _________ one more time, I'll kick h ass because it's so annoying.
Jack [livejournal.com profile] buggery should rewrite __________ and change _________.
Jack [livejournal.com profile] buggery should ____________ in h next story.
Jack [livejournal.com profile] buggery should use the word(s) __________ in h next story.

And my own addition, because in moving files from old PC to newer PC I have come to be amazed and a little frightened by the sheer volume of my WIPs:
Jack [livejournal.com profile] buggery should finish writing ____________, already!

I know what a lot of the question #2 answers are going to be, especially after the story I posted overnight (which wasn't even explicit!), heh heh.

If you don't have answers for all the blanks, fill in the ones you can. I'm definitely feeling back in the writing swing of things, so any words provided via the (original) last question will be worked into stories if at all possible. But don't be afraid to answer the critical questions; I'm always looking for frank and honest literary criticism (of the constructive, not the "you suck!" sort), and I promise my friends won't all flame you if you suggest, for example, that possibly I could stand to pack fewer words and clauses into some of my sentences. ::cough::
