I figure fandom is a big enough place, and most of us fen big enough people, that we can agree to disagree on what version/view of characters we each prefer. Plenty of play-space for everyone.
Re: Donna and Death... I don't think the resemblance is all that strong, physically (though all I've read is the first volume of the Sandman TPB collections and Death: The High Cost of Living, so why the generator keeps trying to get me to write Endless fic I can't fathom), but she would have to *remind* him of Donna.
Is there a convenient post you could point me to summarising (or highlighting) Hal's relationship history? I know there's quite a bit there, and the sooner I get a handle on just what sort of slutty Mr Jordan was... the sooner I can start writing smut about him.
