Who I'm Reading

Who do I read on LJ? On a regular basis, the folks on my DC Comics people filter, which unlike my full friends list is a manageable enough size for me to keep nearly caught up on more often than not. For the moment, anyway.

(This is an excellent time for you to point me to anybody who ought to be on the filter, due to comics-content in their LJ, but isn't yet. I'm not as good with adding people as I ought to be.)

The most recent addition to the list is mistersleepless... despite an almost complete lack of comics content. Why? Because, folks, that's Warren Ellis. Yes, the Warren Ellis. I either hate or love everything of his I've read -- there's no middle ground -- but I don't want to miss a post.

Also, if I hadn't added him, I would've forgotten his username by now. Because my memory sucks just that much.

Ha, yes. Te was like, the first person on it.

You can peruse the filter to get a rough idea of who's in it already. Conversely, anybody who doesn't show up as friended in my userinfo is not in it -- though there are plenty of people on my friends list who aren't in the filter, because I just abhor unfriending people unless grievously offended.

I might be stating the obvious but you can also add his website diepunyhumans to your friends list.

Thats where he posts all the whacked up shit he finds around the internet (and later uses as story fodder)and random thoughts. Not to mention tons of links to all the people who inspire and disgust him.

I love it.


The sight sometimes sickens me (if he posts a link saying dont look - dont look!) but having it on my friends list is great.

There I am catching up on the lives and woes of all those near and dear to me and BAM! something unexpectedly foul makes me laugh like a schoolgirl.
