buggeryThe Jason ficathon deadline is coming up later this month, on 16 August -- Jason Todd's birthday. There was a Tim ficathon back on 19 July to celebrate Tim Drake's birthday.
Dick Grayson has had two different canonical birthdates, and neither of them are coming up next month. My birthday, however, is, and that's a good enough excuse, as far as I'm concerned.
So here's the formal announcement: Tuesday, 7 September 2004 will be the deadline for the Dick Fic-a-thon. (I say deadline, but it's really more a guideline; I'm no good at making deadlines myself. Any time between now and 7 October would do fine.) Stories of all lengths, ratings and pairings (including no pairing) are welcome, as are fanart and manips. Go crazy. Get creative.
Show the world how much you love Dick.
And if I wind up having a ton of fresh Dick goodness to enjoy on or around my birthday... well, bonus.
