Oh, god; I love Mandy, too. I thought I was the only adult on the planet who watched The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. I love that the creator, Maxwell Atoms, appears to have done his cartoon history homework: for instance, Grim saying to Mandy, "Mandy! Watch me pull a werewolf out of my hat!" Hello, that's a neat turn-around from that weekly introductory sketch on Rocky & Bullwinkle. And I want a Jeff, dammit. And did you notice that Grim's father is voiced by the same guy who plays Red Foreman, the dad on That 70s Show, and he talks to Grim as if he were Eric Foreman? ::falls over laughing:: How great is it that the Single Most Terrifying Thing in the Entire Universe is... a small, blonde girl with a flower on her pink pinafore and a very bad 'tude.
I try to entice other adults to watch the show. It worked when I got them to watch the cartoon version of The Tick. Also, when I got them to watch Invader Zim, but only because Harlan Ellison pimped the show first. But then I pimped Earthworm Jim and they didn't like it, so now they won't try Grim, even when I try to get them to watch the ones that spoof HP. Joyless bastards.
