buggery11 July: Michael Rosenbaum turned thirty years old today. And while I lust after him to a nigh-ridiculous degree, I'm not going to gush on and on about that here. (At least, I don't think so. But journal-writing does have that tendency to evoke surprises from one's own psyche.) I probably wouldn't even have mentioned the birthday thing, except...
He asked for people (read: fans) thinking of sending him birthday gifts to donate to Ronald McDonald House instead. And damnit, that's just cool. I wasn't planning to send him anything, and I've never donated to RMcDH before despite having known people who depended on it when children in their families were ill, but I just went and made a decent-sized donation.
There's a page set up to take Ronald McDonald House donations here. Go. You'll feel better. And Michael will wear one of those adorably stunned, startled, "For me?" smiles, and we'll know we put it there, even if we don't see it.
