For those of you who didn't watch last week's episode of The Boondocks on Cartoon Network's [adult swim] ...this is your heads-up that a) the rebroadcast airs tonight at midnight and 2) you need to watch it.

My roommate (the one who tolerates my slashwriting nature rather than actively benefiting from it) said "you MUST watch this episode, all the way to the end. You need to see it." I did, and NEARLY DIED.

I can absolutely tape it for you, and with any luck catch tomorrow's new episode, too -- I won't be able to put it in the post till Monday morning anyway. I'm going to be emailing for the phone # at Swedish anyway, but it'll be easier for me to track your mailing address if you put it in my send-holiday-goodies poll from the other day.

Anything else in particular you'd like on the tape? I have a bunch of The Tick, Venture Brothers, Robot Chicken and Harvey Birdman eps, if you like that sort of humour. I also have the Clone High episode where the clone of Abe Lincoln makes out with the clone of Mohandas Gandhi, assuming I can find that tape. And I have a small assortment of movies I could share: Bent; Hard Core Logo; Memento; My Own Private Idaho; The Pianist; Return to the Batcave (The Further Misadventures of Adam and Burt); Velvet Goldmine; Walt Disney's Fantasia (the original, not the remake); What Dreams May Come. And of course I have tons of Batman-toon related stuff (Batman Beyond, Batman, Static Shock, Justice League) if you want to watch any of that.

Or I could just give you assorted stuff that's fun to watch and/or slashy.

It sounds like you're going to need rest for awhile whether it's in hospital or at home, so hopefully having stuff to watch will help pass the time. great that you already have a laptop -- at times like these, they're more indispensable than ever, eh?
