There once was a slasher named Jack
Who had a gall bladder attack
Going under the knife
Really faps up your life
But long story short: Jack is back.

There's more, of course, but Clark and Lex are back tonight, too (not to mention Spike and that nancy-boy git Angel) so I'll be riveted to the telly for a couple of hours.

I'd forgotten how very eye-candy Smallville is.

Granted, it's never been quite this eye-candy-licious before, what with the spoiler ) and all. Even so, I had just forgotten. The other shows I've been watching mostly have plot and acting and clever dialogue and such things in place of eye-candy. These things are all good, sure... but eye-candy is more droolicious. And more fun to rewind and watch over and over and make screencap icons from.

Which I'm looking forward to doing, absolutely. At the moment, though, I'm watching Angel, waiting to see how exactly the return of Spike is going to work. I mean, la la la, superslashy Angel/Spike adverts in half my comix for the last two months, la la la, James Marsters leapfrogged up to second billing just after David Boring-an-az, la la la, where the bloody [heh] fap is my Spike?

So we're again seeing "ripped from the fanfic" touches and cringeworthy plays on the Superman mythos (phone booth, anyone?), as well as horrible cliches in place of solid plotting. But we're also, it looks like, getting at least one more of those wonderfully clever twists on the mythos we thought we knew: extremely spoilery Smallville speculation. )

And non-speculative but still spoilery. )

Heheh. Getting sucked into chat really delays actually posting entries.
