My grrl fox1013 made me this wonderful Fezzik/Inigo icon! Their Love is so True. And smart Fox found what must be the only moment from the film version of The Princess Bride where Andre's general failure of chemistry with Mandy sparked to life.
I'm reading the book for the first time, and you know that's exactly what I'm seeing. The bit at the cliffs where Fezzik is all 'I'll see you on the plains.' They are so in love. ;)
Really? I found the Fezzik/Inigo relationship blindingly blatant from the very first time I read the book. Of course, I first read it as an adult, which may have made a difference...
I first read it when I was in third grade. I wasn't much for subtext yet. You know, back when I was innocent...*bats eyelashes* So my subsequent readings are very much influenced by that initial reading. Hmm.
so I was doing a google search on "buggery" and your lj was the third link that came up, damned impressive even if there is a starteling lack of buggery going on her.
