D is set on becoming a mendhi artist. Which is why I now have a faint tan blotch on my chest; cheap henna is a waste of money.

Eventually I'll make myself a separate website. I think. I'm just fed up with free hosts that go under. I've now lost 4 sites that way, and it's put a serious crimp in my desire to recreate the old ones. Especially after I moved Violet Letters twice and then bloody Lycos booted it in a fit of homophobia.

So let me get round to the reason I got into this blogging thing: my latest slash obsession. I have an ungodly number of half-written Smallville fics, still. The serious one that looks like I'll finish it first... well, after And the Sailor, Home from the Sea and The Utterly Perfect Murder it seems too serious, I think. So I've decided to make myself write and post some smut, first.

The problem is, twice this past week, when I went to bed, Clex porn started writing itself in my head. I got up both times and wrote out as far as the actual words went, then went back to sleep. I could go with either one, but I can't choose which.

So here they are. Vote for the one you want to see first (if you say both, I swear I'll write Bo/Bessie).

(Working Title: Full Spectrum)

"Lex? You know the blindfold is pointless, right?" He looked right at Lex, through the blindfold, smiling back at the bemused smirk his question earned.

"Not at all, Clark," Lex admonished. "It's to remind you not to look."

It was tempting to ask -- again -- what the surprise was, but Lex was right, a surprise lost much of its fun if spoiled. Sighing, Clark unfocussed his x-ray vision, closing his eyes behind the doubled cloth to remind himself not to look, and held his hands out, waiting to be led.

Lex's hands were cool and dry as his fingers wrapped around Clark's, though he could feel Lex's excitement in the betraying pulse points of his thumbs and wrists. He leaned into the first gentle pull, moving forward in a baby step as if this were some kids' game they were playing. The thought made him smile suddenly as he continued creeping forward, and with images of long-ago playground antics in his head Lex's mouth on his came as a definite surprise.

The razors surprised him.

Lex had said there were things for him now in the closet in Lex's grandiose master bath -- and he remembered with a grin wondering if that made it their bathroom, right before Lex said, "It's our bathroom, now, when you're here. The bedroom is still mine, though." -- but somehow he'd thought that just meant a toothbrush, toothpaste, basics. Instead it looked like the entire personal care section of Fordman's had been replicated in miniature, with just one of everything.

Well, almost everything. Clark frowned over the single tube of toothpaste among the excess of toothbrushes and mouthwashes and anti-perspirants, trying to think when he'd told Lex what kind he used at home, because how else could he have picked just the organic brand? Sure, it was a safe bet for a Kent, but still. Most people didn't even like the taste of the stuff... And then it had hit him, as physical as the rise of heat in his face; Lex had figured out what kind he used from tasting it in Clark's mouth.

It was a pleasant heat, though, body-memory of arousal, of Lex's tongue in his mouth, rather than the embarassing blushes he'd mostly grown out of. He might still be inexperienced when it came to sex, even with Lex, but he was hardly the naive kid he'd been when they met, anymore. Lex said he liked Clark better this way, knowing but still innocent.

oooh! so hard to choose! (I'm glad you're writing stories from Clark's POV! There aren't enough really *good* Clark POV stories out there, and these both look great.)

hmmm, after consideration, though, I'd have to vote for "Close." It's so... shivery in that yummy stage fright way. :D

You know, I hadn't noticed they were both from Clark's POV until you pointed it out. And both the stories I've posted, as well as the "serious" one I've pushed back to focus on smut, are Lex POV. Hmm. I'm now going to go through my WIP folder and see whether I have a Lex=deep thought, Clark=sex on the brain pattern.

Okay, now don't go all Bo/Bessie writin' on my ass, but I really *do* want to see both. And with that in mind, I'm going to vote for full spectrum, just cos Livia already voted for Close and if the votes are even you'll have no *choice* but to write both. Muaahahahahaha!

Well, I'm new at this, so I'm likely to do all sorts of dumb newbie sh!t for awhile, even beyond the dumb newbie sh!t I know I'm doing.

And if it is a tie? Well, I was gonna finish them both eventually. But I'll put the Bo/Bessie up first.

Hmm. Close seems more intimate, while Full Spectrum hints at kinkiness. Today, I'm feeling all cuddly and girly and crap like that, so I'm voting for Close.
