LJ is being completely honest when it says you've successfully added/edited an entry in your memories. The entry exists. Somewhere.
You just can't retrieve it at this time.
I know this because if you look at the total number of memories before you add a memory, and after, it goes up. Even though you cannot find any evidence of the new memory existing under the keyword you've given it.
I posted a help request to support about it yesterday. They said if you wait half an hour to an hour, the entries will become visible. Bull, said I, as this answer was given four hours after my request and the entries had not become visible. Apparently the volunteers have no way of *actually* knowing how long new or edited memories will be lost in the ether, and picked a number out of the air.
