holiday gift exchange dividends

For winter gift-giving holiday this year, my brother gave me a DVD with all 13 aired episodes of the 1998 Silver Surfer animated series. I'm greatly enjoying finally being able to watch these in order and as complete episodes. The animation is, in the main, as pretty as I'd remembered, and has aged well considering advances in the last seven years.

If I were to write some Silver Surfer slash (and bear in mind I have no idea how close the cartoon was to the comic) ...would there be any audience for it?


My brother also got me the first three seasons of The Tick cartoon, but I don't need to ask whether there are people gagging for some Tick/Arthur.

I'd read Silver Surfer/Galactus or SS/Hal Jordan. Maybe SS/Starfox..

I'd read it, but I dunno who you'd slash him with. My knowledge of the show is limited, and while there was zip chemistry between the Surfer and Frankie, there really isn't anyone I can remember that he had chemistry with that isn't dead.

Meanwhile, my brain is going "Woohoo! Silver Surfer!" anyway. Because lord, was that series wonderful, even if I barely remember it.
